Britney Spears - Circus

Circus is the sixth studio album from American pop singer Britney Spears. The album was announced by Jive Records on September 15, 2008, and is set for release in the United States on December 2, 2008, which is Spears's 27th birthday. In the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia it will be released prior to that date.
The first single, "Womanizer", became Spears's first number one single on the Billboard Hot 100 since her debut "...Baby One More Time", almost 10 years prior. The second single will be the title track "Circus", it was announced the same day as the track listing on October 31, 2008. "Circus" is also Spears first title track since, Oops!... I Did It Again. Womanizer - On September 15, Jive released a statement announcing the title of her sixth studio album, Circus as well as the first single, "Womanizer". The single was released to radio stations on September 26, and the release date for the album is December 2, Spears's 27th birthday. On October 15, the song made a record-breaking jump to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, breaking the record set the week before by T.I.'s "Live Your Life". It also garnered first-week download sales of 286,000, the biggest opening-week tally by a female artist since Nielsen SoundScan began tracking digital downloads in 2003. Circus - On October 31, 2008, it was announced on Spears's official website that "Circus" would be released as the album's second single. A Hundred Million Suns

"A Hundred Million Suns is the fifth album by alternative rock band Snow Patrol. The album was released in Ireland on October 24, 2008, in the UK and the rest of Europe on October 27, 2008, and in the US on October 28, 2008. The first single from the album was "Take Back the City" which was released on October 10 in Ireland, Germany and Belgium. Take Back the City - This is the first single from "A Hundred Million Suns". I really can't see the real meaning of the song. Some says it is for the band's city Belfast in Ireland. Some says City means relationship. Just listen and check it out for yourself.

Set the Fire to the Third Bar - The song is very haunting. For me, it's about trying to replace your true love. You go bar to bar to find just like her. And when you can't find the one like her, you set your brain trying to pretend you see that specific person, then goes the fire, the false love, the destructive one. Then you feel frustrated on what you did. Normally we close our eyelids, to forget about the cold reality we are facing. To run away with loneliness. Then you see her. The memories of her, just like music to our soul.

Chasing Cars - I just can't get over with the song. It was simply made but has a very deep meaning. Honestly, I really can't figure the real meaning of this song but for me, this song tells about the nature of love. The boy wants the love to knock their hearts not them who will knock love not the people who are telling them to love each other. He's telling his lover that "Let's forget everything and let love find us and understand us, let love nourish deep in our hearts without the effects of people around us." something like that.

When asked about his favorite song, Gary Lightbody, the band's vocals and guitarist replied, "Chasing cars. Just did the vocals for that this morning. The vocals have been refined and I think it's the purest love song i've written. No tinges of darkness or misery, just totally uplifting. "

Run - Wow this song really got me. It's about two lovers who are going to break but neither party wants to end their relationship. It is as if the girl or the boy needs to go far and can't do anything about it. I like the lyrics that goes, "Light up, light up, as if you have a choice". The boy is telling the girl "Be strong, we can do this. Have faith." Wow. Brilliant!

Midnight Hour

Midnight Hour is one of the coolest bands I know. Their song "Running Away" was featured on Ghost Whisperer, an American televison drama. The band is still in the process of working their debut album. On Tuesday, October 28, 2008, James Mitchell, the band's guitarist, explained about their upcoming album to their avid listeners:

"Hey all. I just wanted to post a quick album update. We are constantly asked where one might be able to buy our music. Well, as of right now, nowhere. We are still in the process of working on getting the songs together for our debut album for Interscope. It has been a long and arduous process, but I believe it will pay off. So I apologize that you can't find our music. But I humbly request your patience and continued support. It means the world to us that you guys prove supportive time and time again. We love you and can't wait to put out the album that all of you deserve and that we are proud of. In the meantime, keep checking back for updates. Augustana is an American rock band who are best known for their single Boston. Their second album entitled All the Stars and Boulevards was released September 6, 2005 and reached #1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and #96 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The band's latest album was released on April 29, 2008 and was entitled Can't Love, Can't Hurt.

Dan Layus, the lead singer, says about their latest cd - "There's a lot of leaving," Dan says, of the album's many beginnings and endings, takeoffs and landings. "That's pretty much the theme of the record-looking for a home and not being able to find it, for a multitude of reasons. I was looking for a home in a person. Be it a real love or just one I had in my head. I wish that by the last song there was a conclusion but I'm still figuring it out myself."

Boston - This song talks about starting over. Boston is about the want for something new and something different from ordinary. There would come a time that we don't want the things happening in our lives anymore so we want something extraordinary, very different from our lifestyles. There we find contentment, BOSTON. Hope we will find our BOSTON soonest!

Sweet and Low - Basically, the song is about not giving up on love. Because, it's better to put your heart through pain and challenges and hopefully find love, than to not love and end up all alone! Yeah right!

Human - A great song with a wonderful lyrics. Because of the great meaning, this song was played on SCRUBS and GHOST WHISPERER. After all, we are HUMAN.

HAARP is a live and video album of Muse. It was released on March in UK and and on April in US, this year. It ranked no.2 on UK , New Zealand, Norwegian and Mexican Album Charts while it ranked 46 on US billboard 200.

Starlight - This song is different! In my interpretation, it talks about someone who is taken far away from his love ones. He's asking her/them never to leave him while he's holding her/them.

Unintended - A beautiful song that tells us about a man who has found the girl he will always love but he's not ready to love yet because the man is busy mending the broken pieces of his past relationship. Man, this is soooo hard! hehehe..

Gavin DeGraw

Gavin DeGraw started in Manhattan clubs alongside local pianists Andrew West and Lenny Revell, drawing several of his home town fans. His songs "I Don't Want to Be" and "We Belong Together" were chosen as the themesongs for One Tree Hill, a teen drama casted by Chad Michael Murray, and in the film Tristan and Isolde respectively. And congrats to him! These beautiful songs made his break.

He also want to tell us that there are lots of people who you may think you love, or think they love you. But its different when you do find that person who loves you back as much as you love them. Whallah! Magic!

Dave Matthews Band

Good news to Dave Matthews Band fanatics!! According to wikipedia.com, Dave Matthews claimed that the band's next album is currently scheduled to be released in early 2009. Despite the band's keyboardist, Butch Taylor, left the band, and after the band's saxophonist LeRoi Moore died from an accident, Dave Matthews Band will continue to play. Last September 10, they concluded a concert-for-a-cause in Madison Square Garden in New York for lung cancer research (Stand Up For A Cure). Nice band huh?
